Brent Fortenberry Named RRSLA Interim Director

Brent Fortenberryhth华体会体育app官网The LSU College of Art & Design has named Brent Fortenberry the new interim director of the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture.He is currently associate dean of research and graduate studies and directs the Doctor of Design in Cultural Preservation program.

hth华体会体育app官网Fortenberry joined LSU in 2023 from the Tulane School of Architecture, where he was the director of the historic preservation program.hth华体会体育app官网Prior to Tulane, Fortenberry was the associate and interim director of the Texas A&M University College of Architecture Center for Heritage Conservation.He previously served as the associate director for historic preservation, architectural history and archaeological research at the Clemson University Warren Lasch Conservation Center.He holds a B.A.in anthropology from the College of William & Mary, a M.A.in historical archaeology from Bristol University, a M.S.in historic preservation from Clemson University/College of Charleston, and a Ph.D.in archaeology from Boston University.He is also the founder and principal of Heritage Resource Management Consultants, LLC.
